Following on from our excitement at our sister garage Russell Automotive Centre being Highly Commended Independent Garage of the Year at the Motor Trader Awards last week, this Sunday Garage Express’ very own Jane Russell had her debut radio interview broadcast on Motor Trade Radio.
As the fourth instalment of Leading Ladies in the motor trade, Jane discussed with Steph Collinswood her extensive career path, reasons why she decided to open two businesses and the importance of car and van repairers having the right accreditation.
Also covered was her experience of speaking at the AM IMI People Conference, involvement in the Work Ready scheme which is enabling young people to join the motor industry and potential Brexit implications for the repair sector. Jane also covered the future of the motor industry with a view of the impact of the electric car.
